Carrier Liability and Cargo Insurance

Target Transportation, operating as an Intermodal Marketing Company, and Property Broker is not a common carrier and therefore is not subject to common carrier liability.  However, all shipments handled by Target Transportation are protected from Loss or Damage under liability levels as provided by specific contracted carrier(s).  Liability levels vary depending on actual carrier, commodity, invoice value, and in some cases, release value applications.
